Standa Ježek and Hynek Cígler from the INPSY team Measurement in Psychology presented the preliminary results of their project at the prestigious International Test Commission (ITC) conference in Granada, Spain.
Standa discussed scoring questionnaires and identifying socially desirable responses by tracking eye movements. Hynek then showed how the Height Questionnaire can be used to study response processes, along with the effect of the length of the Likert scale and its verbal anchors on the psychometric parameters of the questionnaire.
The project focuses on the prevention of mental disorders and the development of parental competencies in the postpartum period. It is co-led by Mgr. et Mgr. Lea Takács, Ph.D., in collaboration with Bulovka University Hospital and University Hospital Brno, and is funded by the Czech Health Research Agency. Within the project, the Ph.D. student will receive a 0.3 FTE position for three years.

The position is based at the Institute of Psychology, Czech Academy of Sciences in Brno, with doctoral studies at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Studies, Masaryk University. You will join the Brno Lab of Intergroup Processes and work closely with Sylvie Graf and Tibor Žingora.
