Utku Caybas, Ph.D. is a postdoctoral researcher at the BIG Lab. His research focuses on peer relations at school, including interactions, relationships, and group processes, and their role in shaping students’ motivational beliefs (e.g., self-efficacy, interest) in STEM domains. He utilizes diverse methodological approaches to study these processes, including longitudinal social network analysis and mixed methods designs. Utku completed his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Educational Technology at Michigan State University.
