We attended the conference of the HoDeKoProM project in Bratislava

Our members Zuzana Scott, Jan Šerek and Lukas Blinka attended the conference of HoDeKoProM project in Bratislava. The project is a collaboration between the Research Institute of Child Psychology and Patopsychology(VÚDPaP) and INPSY and its main goal is to seek a deeper understanding of the impact of hoaxes, misinformation, conspiracies and propaganda in the online environment on the lives of young people.

The conference in Bratislava focused on Disinformation and media literacy among young people and was intended primarily for teachers and people active in media education for young people. The aim was to bring the knowledge of experts and professionals working on the topic of misinformation and to present the results of the mapping of young people's experiences within the project.

The conference was also attended by our member Zuzana Scott, who together with her colleague Ester Kövér presented the results of HoDeKoProM research on mapping the perception of misinformation, hoaxes and propaganda among young people. The conference also included various workshops, poster presentations and a panel discussion on Examples of good practice in media education for young people, moderated by our member Honza Šerek.
