Health, Media, and Sexuality
What we do
We focus on research in the areas of psychology of sexuality and media, and more broadly in the field of health psychology. Our projects include research on adolescent sexuality, senior sexuality, changes in sexual behaviour due to digital media, new behavioural addictions such as excessive gaming, pornography, and mobile phone use. In general, we are exploring the risks and opportunities offered by digital media. We apply both quantitative and qualitative approaches, work with cross-sectional and longitudinal data, do basic and practice-oriented research, and are involved in the development of measurement tools in psychology.
